"What is Acceptable?”
Hi, fellow Christian brother/sister,
If you are reading this, then I can only assume that you are
not at the retreat. But, that does not mean you will miss out on the
entirety of my workshop. Read on!
I happened upon this unrelated website on a technology
deals site. At first I was not sure what it was about. When I read
the description, I decided to take a look for myself. It was here that
I discovered that the internet has reached a new low.
This website promotes affairs. It is for married people to
find other married people. Apparently, if one does not love one’s
spouse, or perhaps is a bit bored, one can meet another man’s or
woman’s spouse. What disturbs me even more is the laissez-faire
attitude the site has towards extra-marital affairs. The sanctity of
marriage is being trodded upon! How can this be happening in a
supposedly Christian country?
This causes me to wonder, what are the morals that are
being taught, if at all? What are the standards that should be
upheld? If this is wrong, what are we doing to stop this? Or are we
going to turn a blind eye because it has nothing to do with me and
is not THAT bad of a sin? How are you going to stand up for our
Heavenly Father’s standards? And do you know what His
standards are? Consider this: Are the things you do acceptable to
Christ?
