牧者心聲 Pastor's Message

Have you ever had one of those days where you wake up
and know that there is just not enough time to get everything done
that you need to get done? Or have you ever had one of those days
where you wake up and you know you have nothing to do that day
and you wonder if you can find something to do to fill up the day?
If either is the case, then I have an encouraging scripture for you.
It is found in Romans 11:36 and reads, “Everything comes from
God alone. Everything lives by His power, and everything is for
His glory.” The next time you wake up and wonder what direction
your day will go, remember this verse. Everything in your life
comes from God alone. Everything in your life depends on the
power of God. And everything in your life is to be for the glory of
God. That is powerful! Life is not just an aimless wandering that
differs from day to day. Life is given from God, held accountable to
God, and is directed toward the glory of God! C.S. puts it this way:
“Aim at heaven and you will get earth thrown in. Aim at earth and
you get neither.” Let us direct our daily lives towards Christ, and
only then will each day fulfill its purpose in Christ! Be blessed this
week as we continue to bring glory to God!
