      This week I went to see the movie “Earth” in the theatre. The movie was pretty amazing! Just seeing all that God has created and knowing that all around us His creation is glorifying His Name. The only thing that I didn’t like about the movie was that there were some sad scenes where some of the animals didn’t make it. It made me wonder about the “circle of life” science books label us a part of. Are we just like the other creatures of this world? Is it eat or be eaten for us? No, I think not. God has set us apart for His kingdom purposes. Jesus tells us in Matthew 22:37-39: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind… And love your neighbor as yourself.” Jesus tells us to love God and to love each other. This sounds nothing like the “circle of life” that we find in the science books. We as humans are different, and God loves us so much He would die for us. Creation is awesome; but the Creator is beyond awesome! Be blessed this week as we enjoy God and His wonders, giving praise to Him through obedience to Jesus!
